The Main Attraction this year was Sid Bowfin, a Comedy Violinist, and he performed two shows in the marquee and drew quite a crowd, who were also entertained by a local ukulele band. Stalls in the marquee were busy selling jams, chutneys and cakes, with refreshments available for the thirsty visitors. A face painter was much in demand and the local schools had an art display, which had been arranged by Natalie from R Teapot at Bruche Heath Gardens. The Environment Agency had a stand where staff were available to answer questions on any concerns.
In the Main Arena Vale Royal Falconry flew their falcons and owls in a display, at one time inviting children to tow a lure across the arena for the birds to chase, thinking it was prey, creating much excitement! Vale Royal also had a static display near to the arena where the visitors could see the birds more closely.
Our thanks to all who came to support the Show on the day, and special thanks to those volunteers who helped to make it another success.
