The various stalls around the showground did well, with most run by charities raising funds. The Punch & Judy Show drew the crowds again, with a good mix of children and adults watching each performance. The donkey rides were popular, as was the Circus Skills Workshop and the Funfair. A new attraction was Paula Kerley with a demonstration of "bodging", a traditional wood turning craft.
Unfortunately, the Horticultural Society announced that this would be their last involvement with the Show, as due to falling member numbers the society was finishing. It is hoped to continue with the main marquee at least next year when it will be the 40th Anniversary of Woolston Park. However, we as a Friends Group are becoming low in numbers of volunteers willing to help maintain the park, so next year might be the last Show if the situation doesn't improve. We all hope this doesn't happen.
