This is to inform residents that I will be standing as Independent Councillor in the Local elections. I am doing this to enable myself to continue with the work that I have undertaken on behalf of residents since 2007, and to provide a recognisable voice and champion the needs of the local community. Over recent months I have had a number of requests, and lots of encouragement from a significant number of residents, urging me to stand as an Independent councillor on a non party political basis. People have told me that they wanted to be able to vote for a councillor that they are familiar with and not for new candidates that they feel have been forced upon them. Needless to say I have felt extremely humbled and quite overwhelmed by the support shown and so I have had no hesitation making the leap forward and declaring myself as a candidate. I am now asking for your support by voting for me.

Previously based at a site on Slutchers Lane in Warrington the Cats Protection Adoption Centre opened the doors of the state of the art rehoming centre in Padgate on 23rd November 2014.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a national Charity that trains clever dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds, is scouring Warrington for willing dog-lovers to take care of their adorable puppies.
